Starting from your downtown Memphis hotel, your friendly, fun, professional guide will take you on narrated sightseeing tour by mini-coach. Cruise down Beale Street and Cotton Row, and travel along the Mississippi River and through Victorian Village, where you’ll see homes built in the 1800s.

See statues of Elvis Presley and BB King and pass the National Civil Rights Museum, located in the Lorraine Hotel, where Martin Luther King Jr was assassinated.

Stop at Schwab, a 120-year-old general store, and pass St Jude Children’s Research Hospital, Sun Studio, and the Pyramid Arena, an astounding 20,142-seat arena resembling an Egyptian pyramid.

The adventure begins outside the famous Peabody Hotel and takes you on a well-designed course among the both the historic and famous sights and sounds of Memphis.  Your experience will take you to famous eateries, historic hotels, music legends and other great highlights of the city. The tour requires approximately 1 mile of walking. The game software tracks team points and posts the final score to a city leaderboard for those with a competitive edge.

On this private tour of Memphis, you'll explore everything Elvis in a classic 1950's car that will allow you to step back in time.  Each tour is conducted by a local Beale Street entertainer who will share insight into Elvis' life and career in Memphis. Hitting various neighborhoods, you'll see one of the very first homes of the Presley's, favorite local hangouts, recording studios, concert venues, and more.

Your tour starts on Beale Street in the heart of Memphis. You'll see the Lansky Brothers building where Elvis shopped, and the location of the 'Home of the Blues' record shop where his first records were sold.

Continue through Downtown Memphis, where Elvis lived in the days before stardom. See the Chisca Hotel, home of WHBQ, where the first Elvis record was played on the air. Cruise by Jim's Barber shop where Elvis perfected the famous haircut, the Loew's State Theatre where he worked as a young man, and The Peabody Hotel- site of his high school prom. 

Continue on to the Lauderdale Courts where Elvis lived as a teenager, and the American Studios where he recorded in 1969. See Humes High School from which he graduated, and Plastic Products where his first records were pressed. Complete your time Downtown with a visit to Crowne Electric, where Elvis worked as a truck driver, and a drive past the fields where he played football.

Your tour continues through Midtown, where you'll visit the Sears Crosstown Priscilla visited to outfit Graceland. Swing by Donald's Furniture where Elvis purchased Graceland's furniture, and the Crosstown Theatre he often rented out. Visit the home of Scotty Moore, Elvis' first guitar player, and University Cleaner's where they rehearsed as a band.

After Midtown visit Overton Park, one of the most beautiful spaces in Memphis, which hosted Elvis' first concert in 1954. Take some time here for pictures and the opportunity to stand on stage where Elvis stood. Drive past Kang Rhee Institute of Self Defense where he practiced karate in the 1970's, and the Memphian- his favorite theatre. 

Ending the tour you will also visit the Immaculate Conception where Pricilla attended high school, the First Assembly of God church where the Presley's attended service and also Stax Studio where Elvis recorded in 1973. Then off to Supercycles location where Elvis bought his motorcycles.

The trip wouldn't be complete without a stop at Sun Records, where Elvis' first records were made. Visit Southern Motors where Elvis bought his Cadillacs, and then complete your tour at the Hard Rock Cafe.

The city of Memphis has a story with disaster and triumph.  Memphis 101 is a one hour tour and a great way to learn about how Memphis evolved since the early 1800's.  From it's thriving cotton industry to an epidemic that almost wiped it off the map.  You'll see churches that have been standing for centuries, historic homes where high society once dwelled, the city's oldest theater, the park where a music genre was born and the hotel balcony where Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. was assassinated in 1968 and much more.  Yes, Memphis is known for its musical roots.  But its the city's fascinating past that inspired that unique Memphis sound. Type of Car used is determined by availability of the car.

The journey begins on historic Beale Street pointing out where the African-American community shopped, worked and played.  Then we pass the historic Beale Street Baptist church and Robert Church Park where the blues began.  Then it's off to the Hunt-Phelan mansion where high society once lived.

We pass AME church where Martin Luther King, Jr. led his last march, go by Fed Ex Forum, the home of the Memphis Grizzlies, Gibson Guitar Factory and W.C. Handy Park.

Then we pass the most famous hotel of the Mid-South, The Peabody Hotel, drive along the Mississippi River, and off for a stop at Martyr's Park which is dedicated to the victims of the yellow fever epidemic.

Then we go by the Arcade Restaurant which is the oldest cafe in Memphis and the Lorraine Hotel where Martin Luther King, Jr.  was assassinated.  

Then we take a drive down Cotton Row where cotton was king, the famous Memphis Pyramid and Ellis Auditorium where the very first Gospel shows happened in Memphis.

We then drive by St. Mary's Cathedral where victims of the yellow fever were cared for, Collins Chapel CME Church the oldest African-American congregation in Memphis and then a trip through Victorian Village where the city's oldest mansions still stand.

We also pass by the Magevney House the oldest house in Memphis, the courthouse and the first police and fire station in Memphis.

Then we go by Court Square one of the original parks in Memphis and Dr. D.T. Porter building the very first skyscraper in Memphis.
